As a youth-led movement committed to the collective liberation of all people, we understand that our work does not begin and end with the campaigns we run. We have recently adopted a new national leadership structure to reflect our national organizational priorities.  The following are parts of USAS’ national General Organizing Committee:

Collective Liberation

Communications & Media

The Communications & Media Subcommittee is charged with both internal (current student organizers) and external (alumni, allies, supporters) communication. Contact Salma at email hidden; JavaScript is required to get involved.

Growth & Sustainability

The Growth & Sustainability Subcommittee is charged with creating the infrastructure and carrying out work (Grassroots Fundraising Strategies, Individual Membership Drives) to make USAS a more effective and sustainable organization. Political Education

The Political Education Subcommittee is charged with researching, discussing and educating USAS members in a way that connects our campaigns to a broader movement for social and economic justice. Contact Salma at email hidden; JavaScript is required to get involved.

High schools Organizing for Labor Action (HOLA)

The HOLA Subcommittee is charged with reaching out to high school students to join USAS and collaborate with nearby USAS college affiliates.  College USAS members offer support, training and mentorship to high school students interested in building worker and student power.
