USAS’s national Coordinating Committee vowed its support for the Chicago Teachers Union’s ongoing strike in a letter sent to the union’s leadership earlier today:
“As college and university students, we are committed to opposing corporate America’s efforts to dismantle and privatize our public schools, to strip workers of their dignity and voice, and to break the only organizations with the power to stop them: unions.”
“USAS is proud to support you and the 30,000 members of CTU. Your fight is our fight.”
