Designated Suppliers Program
At least two of us will be coming from Houston, and space may be available.
We may be leaving on Wednesday
I will be coming from ATL.
Hey, I might flying in and out of Atlanta on Thursday and Sunday/Monday what are your plans?
Leo Baunach
SLAP, University of Washington Seattle
SLAC at University of Wisconsin-Madison plan to take as many as two cars down to Tennessee.
I am hoping to head down from Detroit, and would very much like to find both a ride share and a room share for the conference.
I could meet someone along the way, because I’m pretty sure Detroit is not really convenient for most folk.
Comeon Midwest, I need a hookup!
I am a former coordinating committee member, current Labor Notes intern (hoping to do a write-up on the conf for our website, at least) and future USAS member, when I settle into graduate school life.
Peace,
enku
I am not sure whether I am coming to the conference, but it would be more likely if I could have a ride. I would be coming from Grand Rapids. What would your route be like? Maybe I could meet you in Detroit or somewhere along the way.
Hi Jessica,
, so I’d really need to share driving/gas with someone who has a vehicle already in mind. Any ideas?
My rout would be pretty flexible, could maybe meet you somewhere between here and there, depending on what makes sense. Do you have access to a vehicle you’d be taking? I have a car, but really doubt it’d make it on a long car trip
Could y’all get to Chicago? I think there will be a number of folks heading down through there from Chicago/Wisconsin/Minnesota/Purdue. Some might have room for two more. If nothing turns up in Michigan it could be worth a shot.
Midwest love ♥
Hey there’s a group of us heading out from the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area if yall want to coordinate. Not totally sure how many seats we’ll have open, but I thought I’d give you and Enku a heads up! Shoot me and Email.
Meg
Hey Megan,
Could you email me at enku [at] labornotes [dot] org so we can try to coordinate?
Thanks so much for the heads up!

enku

Hey Billy,
there’s probably gonna be a couple of us going from houston and we’re planning on renting a car, so if we can find a way to meet, this could work out.
Hi Brendan that would be awesome. What time were you thinking of leaving and I can try and find a way to meet yall in Houston
We’re looking at Wednesday evening, around 5 or so, because we may have a place to stay in lafayette, but if not we’re looking at early, early on Thursday. You can email me if you want to get in touch: email hidden; JavaScript is required.
Hey Brendan
I was able to secure a flight. Wasn’t easy, but as long as I get there I’m sure it will be worth it. Thanks for the ride offer and I look forward to meeting y’all.
In solidarity
