Today, 15 students,workers, and community leaders were arrested for occupying their chancellor’s office. They were demanding that subcontrated student workers be reclassified as university employees and given the right to be covered by the union representing University of California service workers. Please call Chancellor Larry Vanderhoef at (530) 752-2065 and demand that all charges be dropped and that these student workers be brought in house.
