On November 16 at noon, 15 students at Purdue University staged a sit-in in their President’s office demanding that Purdue University adopt the Designated Suppliers Program. By adopting the Designated Suppliers Program, Purdue would require brands like Nike and Adidas that produce clothes for the university to source from factories where workers have a voice on the job and earn a living wage.
